We are looking for a UK and Ireland Sales Manager to join our team.

You will be leading our growing sales team in the UK & Ireland and responsible for taking market share and deploy our strategy of Multiple Ways to Grow in a wide range of industry opportunities.

 

Job Function

You will have the opportunity to take your demonstrated expertise to a new level in developing our new and existing talent and managing the business through:

Strategic Sales Planning 

  • Creates and deploys sales strategies to increase market share and maintain current business focused on Keysight value and solutions.  The sales strategy outlines multiple ways to win with clear priorities, metrics, and a path to achieve the goals that everyone understands and follows.
  • Sales Strategy includes services and SW sales plan
  • Demonstrates profound knowledge of the industry, market trends/drivers and ecosystem for assigned accounts / territory
  • Demonstrates Keysight’s value proposition and solutions
  • Understands the competition's strategy to win; understands the products and solutions
  • Identifies and executes on strategic breakthrough opportunities within the assigned accounts / territory that are essential to grow Keysight’s business 

Sales Innovation

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill in Challenger sales practices and effectively coaches these skills in the team
  • Demonstrates and coaches effective negotiation
  • Coaches employees on both the deal level and strategic sales skills
  • Provides forward looking coaching on creating new opportunities
  • Coaches on building the sales pipeline and closing deals
  • Develops unique ways to overcome sales obstacles and provides new ways to improve sales performance
  • Proactively engages and influences all resources which includes sales, marketing, IST/ COE employees and partners to provide all the essential components needed to create new business.
  • Works collaboratively with internal partners and promotes a win-win attitude 
  • Proactively develops senior / executive customer relationships at strategic accounts 

Coaching and Developing People             

  • Attracts, retains and develops sales talent
  • Provides on-going coaching and feedback to employees - Points out areas of improvement and can have the hard discussion about performance improvement
  • Documents and conducts meaningful performance reviews
  • Holds direct reports accountable for results
  • Rewards and highlights great performance
  • Creates and communicates a compelling vision to generate enthusiasm with their team

Sales Operational Excellence

  • Aligns Resources to Goals by effectively assigning quota to their team
  • Sets challenging and achievable goals for each person on the team
  • Rigorously manages the sales funnel – intake and moving opportunities through the funnel
  • Dynamically and strategically assigns accounts and territories to best enable success/ goal achievement
  • Effectively manages team operations ensuring that processes are executed well
  • Creates forecast and ensures all SFDC requirements and data entry are completed
  • Actively encourages best practice sharing across the team

You will be an integral member of our EMEAI and UK & Ireland sales management team. As a part of this exciting group, you will have a leadership role in growing and managing changes in our organization and creating value and profitable growth for Keysight.

 

Job Qualifications

To qualify to join our dynamic and high-achieving team you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of Electronic industry (Test &Measurements preferably) related experience in technical product sales with a recognized track record of Results Driving Order Growth
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to build strong market Insights
  • Hunting attitude
  • A recognized Leadership / Role Model / Teamwork
  • Channel, Sales, Program, People management experience
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
