Job Description

    Position Overview

    The Regional Business Development Manager will lead a business development activity to grow our Network Test product line across our Security, Carriers and NEM market focus areas. The role is part of our enablement team and will cover the whole EMEA region. It will require a close working relationship across all Sales Channels both direct and indirect along with a close business alignment to our Solutions Team and their System Architects.

    This position will report to the Region Enablement Director and will be responsible for finding and creating a strong pipeline of business opportunities across the region. The successful candidate will have the drive and energy to create business focus working in partnership with our EMEA sales team and be skilled at assessing customer needs and facilitate solutions unique to their business. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop new business across Security, Carrier and NEM markets.
  • Build a plan to ensure broad penetration across EMEA
  • Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
  • Provide presentations to customers addressing technical issues and addressing business problems
  • Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Provide regular inputs to product marketing on customer needs, general market trends and issues for partner
  • International travel up to 50%

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
  • Typically 4-5 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
  • Extensive experience selling Ethernet/IP Test & Measurement Solutions to Service Provider and Network Equipment Manufacturer Markets
  • Broad Knowledge of Networking Technologies -  IP, Security, SSL, MPLS, Switching and Routing, Virtualization and Cloud
  • Knowledge of Ixia/Spirent Test Solutions would be advantageous.


  • Technology sales experience selling into large national and multinational accounts
  • Technical background with strong understanding of networking, datacenter operations within various industries
  • Experience as effective facilitator who understands the complex relationships among various stakeholders in the sales process
