Job Description

This role requires energy and passion for mission-critical applications for Keysight solutions aimed at Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW) and Space / Satellite testing within the Aerospace and Defense industry.  You will apply your written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate the value and benefits as well as technical aspects of new Keysight products during their private and public introduction phase.  These NPIs can encompass hardware, software, and combinations thereof.

You will be a member of high performance team of Pyramid Leads, AEs and BDEs, and other Solution Marketing experts focused on our largest and most important A/D customers, working with people in the field and factory in a proactive and highly collaborative manner using a strong set of technical and communication skills. As a key team member, you will be responsible for leading NPI processes, developing outbound content and supporting product teams in connecting content with appropriate channels, to ensure product launches are carried out effectively with proper integration of marketing programs. You will be working directly with Customers, FEs and AEs, Solution Specialists, and colleagues from many parts of Keysight.  Key measures of your success will be NPI order ramp, and long-term order growth.

  • Work with ADGS REWS Pyramid leads, other SMEs, AEs, as well as R&D teams and planners:
  • Develop marketing collateral such as technical data sheets, technical overviews, brochures, videos, and other supporting content for and Keysight’s YouTube channels that support NPIs in the context of our strategies for Radar, EW and Satellite applications. You will work to clearly communicate Keysight Solutions (Products, Solution Platforms, and Custom Solutions and Support Capabilities) to our sales force and ultimately customers.
  • Support effective training of our sales channel through the creation of timely and relevant eFTDs and other training material for use at field training events such as Insight.
  • Contribute to the creation of demonstration guides, application notes, or other technical material.

Tactical job duties:

  • Participate in relevant meetings led by the ADGS-REWS Pyramid leads.  This position can span multiple Pyramids, supporting multiple NPIs, or a single NPI that can support more than one application or more than on Pyramid.
  • Participate in regular R&D project team and checkpoint meetings, and actively contribute to the NPI and marketing launch plan as it is developed, taking a leadership role as you gain experience and grow into higher levels of job scope.
  • When required for specific NPIs, develop pricing and product structure for new products.  Assist in configuration and classification of new products. Note that in some cases, CSG Product Management may lead these efforts, in which case the ADGS solution marketing engineer will play more of a supporting role.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences. Participate in periodic customer visits.
  • Perform competitive analysis and develop summary material in support of field training for specific competitors.

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering field or computer science. 
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.  Demonstrated track record of effective presentations, explanation of complex concepts, and customer facing skills.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in Keysight technical marketing or customer/field support role related to our RF/uW and Digital test and measurement products. 
  • Ability to work alone or in teams.  Conscious of deadlines and effective time management skills
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Have a basic understanding of our customers technical challenges, as well as competitors
  • Travel / Other:
  • 10% to 20% travel
  • U.S. Citizenship highly desirable but not required
