Job Description

Solution Sales Manager

The cellular industry is on the cusp of a massive wave of 5G investment that will usher in the next generation of wireless technology – making 5G Keysight’s most important market.  Internet Infrastructure’s Network Access team is a fast-paced, startup style business innovation that is at the epicenter of this new technology wave!  Network Access is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced business driver to be our next Solution Sales Manager.

This role will have sales management responsibility for an almost $200M business and involves the direct management of a geographically distributed team of skilled business development professionals. Responsibilities will include

•Work with regional field teams to position applications and solution fit
•Work with field teams to set sales strategies and drive funnel of qualified opportunities to business close
•Support pricing strategies & negotiations to manage discounts
•Track funnels and key order results against set goals with solution teams
•Identifying needs and develop field solution selling skills appropriate to industry targets and solutions
•Work with solution team experts to ensure generation of timely and rich marketing content to industry audience
•Provide ongoing leadership, drive and skills coaching for team of business professionals 

Job Qualifications

Position requires BSEE or equivalent.

Direct Sales or extensive experience in a customer facing role is a requirement for this role along with at least 5 years experience directly managing people. A strong knowledge of the communications industry ecosystem, especially around major Network Equipment Manufacturers is preferred. Good breadth of knowledge across all Keysight solution offerings and competitors in this market is required.

•Solid verbal, written and presentation skills
•Demonstrates ability to be interrupted, proactively seek appropriate contacts, and effective time management
•Problem solving skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•MBA or advanced degree preferred.
