Keysight has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Communications Manager. This role will be part of the Keysight Global Marketing organization, which creates awareness and generates demand for the Keysight brand and the company’s extensive portfolio of solutions, products, and services. Departments include Brand and Global Communications, Portfolio Marketing, Region Marketing, and Marketing Operations. 



Executive Communications Manager

The Executive Communications Manager supports assigned members of Keysight’s executive staff, in their internal and external communications.  


As a communications manager for Keysight’s executive staff, this role will have responsibility for supporting and partnering with the assigned executives to develop their internal and external communications to investors, Board of Directors, customers, and employees, with an emphasis on employees. It develops written and visual communications to align and engage audiences to the business unit’s mission, strategy, and values.  It is responsible for ensuring stakeholders understand the organization’s direction, goals, and initiatives to achieve business goals.  Focus includes but is not limited to:

  • Communications manager for Keysight Senior Executive Staff:  Supports and partners with the Keysight Senior Executives on their communications, including messages to employees, keynote presentations, coffee talks, and Board of Directors updates. This role involves writing, editing and producing employee messages, all hands webcasts, decisions, customer / industry / investor presentations, thought leadership content, strategic plan reviews, speeches, and videos as well as being a communications coach to the executive. The Communications Manager also advices on communications within the executive’s organization to ensure alignment with the company’s communications strategy and messaging.
  • Keysight Employee Communications - This role will also support development and execution of Keysight’s employee communications strategy with a focus on ensuring employees are informed and engaged.

Job Qualifications

This key role requires: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University degree or equivalent plus 5-10+ years of demonstrated industry experience with strategic communications at the executive level as well as across multiple audiences.

Demonstrated experience and abilities to:

  • Create and implement strategic communications plans at the business group and program level.
  • Write, edit, and create outstanding, high-quality communications, stories, and presentations.  Synthesize complex information into clear, compelling visual and written language. Expert use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word applications.
  • Experience working with technologists, managers, program specialists, and C-level executives. Partner with and maintain strong business connections with HR, Marketing, Investor Relations, Corporate Development and other groups involved in communicating to stakeholders.
  • Be results-oriented and demonstrate strategic instincts. Be comfortable in an environment of ambiguity, where decisions need to be made quickly. Deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Think globally; understand the business (e.g. strategy, solutions, customers, competitors) and audiences (e.g. board, investors, customers, managers, employees).
  • Leadership / influencing skills across all levels.
  • Desired: knowledge of and experience in high technology industry.

Preferred location is Santa Rosa, CA, but will consider Santa Clara, CA as an alternate location with some commuting as needed.
