As R&D Manager within Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions, you will lead R&D team of 10-12 members with expertise in lasers, optics and electronics to develop the most advanced laser interferometer position measurement systems.  Your leadership will ensure delivery of overall laser interferometer system performance for our most advanced applications enabling stage positioning performance to support semiconductor lithography and processes beyond the 2.5nm node.   We play an important role in continuing the advancement of Moore's Law.
This leadership position will include responsibilities to lead our R&D programs with major customers who have provided additional development funding for the most advanced and customized solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or electrical engineering is required.
  • +5 years' experience in managing product development (as R&D project manager) and/or leading a large multi-year development programs (as program manager). Expertise in managing large teams.
  • +5 years’ experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is preferred.  Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and situations.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering to coordinate error budgets between sub-system teams to ensure overall system performance.   Effect usage of telecommunications methods to effectively engage global customers.
  • Business travel expected to be 10% of time or less.
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Delivers results with customer orientation and providing the highest value solutions. Consistently pushes self and others to exceed results, especially under challenging circumstances.
  • Understands how to quickly interpret financial, technological and broad trends to provide strategic leadership and guidance.
