The Director of Web Marketing is a key leadership position in the Corporate and Portfolio Marketing Team within Keysight Global Marketing (KGM). Corporate Marketing includes; Brand, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing and Web Marketing, and Portfolio Marketing includes Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, and Marcom.

As the company’s largest generator of qualified leads for sales, this web leadership role is responsible for coordinating with IT, sales, and global support groups as necessary on the integration of new capabilities onto the Keysight.com web platform. This role will work cross-functionally with content, creative, IT development, and stakeholders in global sales and global support to drive higher traffic volumes, better SEO, UX testing, a great user experience, and higher conversion rates.

 

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Live and breathe the website and optimize performance
  • Architect for web transformation. Facilitate gathering of stakeholder requirements for migration to AEM; Interface to email marketing and analytics reporting platforms 
  • Drive website strategy. Clarify requirements for website updates including new features, content/creative changes, forms, and engagement
  • Leadership of the web team. Grow and develop individuals building organization capability in web architecture requirements management, SEO, and web operations
  • Coordinate with stakeholders from IT, portfolio content development, email marketing and advertising, regional field marketing and executive management
  • Manage user experience. Analyze the effectiveness of customer journeys on the pre-sales website and recommend modifications for improvements that increase conversion rates.
  • Work cross-functionally. Ensure design, editorial, and SEO content resources efficiently progress from concepts to final designs to delivery and launch
  • Identify opportunities to optimize tools, new technology, and resource efficiencies
  • Ensure best practices are upheld for web development and management, providing the best UX and brand impression
  • Regularly explore and pursue new digital ideas, testing small and measuring success
  • Manage backend and frontend web projects, including architecture approach and guidance
  • Help debug and troubleshoot the website daily, working with UX and dev teams
  • Lead digital data analysis of customer journeys, abandonment causes, visitor profiling, web form effectiveness, and web-generated lead creation

 

Stay ahead of the latest developments and trends in web marketing, identifying new opportunities to improve implementation and efficiencies. 

 

The preferred locations are Santa Rosa or Santa Clara, CA, but will consider other locations based on qualifications of candidate.

 

Job Qualifications

In this key role, the Director of Web Marketing,  will report directly to the Vice President of Portfolio Marketing and is responsible and accountable for driving Keysight’s marketing web experience, business results and the continued transformation of the Keysight marketing web. This is a very creative,  hands-on managerial role.

  • Proven track record of 5-7+ years’ experience in web development, web management and SEO optimization
  • BS/MS degree (or applicable relevant experience in Web Marketing) 
  • Successful in leading/managing teams
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, high-performance environment
  • Experience working with B2B web marketing environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to gain quick adoption of win-win consensus approaches with cross-functional teams
  • Bias towards action and a strong sense of urgency
