Job Description

The role is part of the Keysight “Network Emulation Solutions” (NES), Customer Support Organisation, delivering post-sales customer support for 4G & 5G test solutions direct to key customers.

Drawing on strong physical layer and RF knowledge, providing specialist technical support directly to Keysight NES customers with emphasis on RF testing, including Over the Air testing.

The successful candidate will be a bright and proactive engineer with a good theoretical and practical knowledge of physical layer and RF testing and good communicator that enjoys taking on complex technical challenges.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive technical support to Keysight customers via telephone, email and remote login to systems
  • Conducting regular on-site visits to provide technical support, training and maintenance of Keysight systems
  • Educating customer base on Keysight product capabilities beyond initial scope and purpose.
  • Engaging in custom script writing and bespoke development projects using Keysight products.
  • Building technical, credible relationships with key customer engineering personnel becoming a resident expert for key customers.
  • Working closely with customers to understand their system and testing needs, creating demand for additional sales
  • Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously learning new products, applications and technologies in areas of communication standards such as GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5GNR.

Job Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with emphasis in wireless communication systems.
  • Strong understanding of RF and wireless test and measurement applications.
  • Strong knowledge of 3G/4G/5G air interface protocols.
  • Experience with programming languages including C/C++/C# and Labview.
  • Expertise in measurements instruments automation.
  • Passion for continuous learning in wireless technology.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
