Ixia is looking for a Brand Creative Designer to join our campaign marketing team. You will be a contributing and core member of our marketing and design teams, with the goal of taking our marketing strategy and making it visually compelling to build brand awareness and drive demand. Day to day responsibilities will involve working with small team of designers and content creators to concept and execute inspired, creative solutions that reflect Ixia’s brand, enforce the message, and inject beauty and life into a solution/product. 
The ideal candidate would have proven expertise in visual design and be willing to learn. You will get to work on projects in a wide variety of design disciplines, and your work will have high visibility throughout the company and the market. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and expand your creative abilities. 
• Develop graphics from concept to production for online and print 
• Design and format marketing materials including brochures, trade show graphics, presentations, solutions briefs, newsletters, and event invitations and more 
• Determine size and arrangement of material and copy and select font style and size of type, according to Ixia’s brand standards 
• Format graphics for email and landing pages for appropriate media sizes 
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed 
• Coordinate production of materials including packaging artwork and assembling final layouts to production-ready files 

Job Qualifications

You Are:

  • Proficient artist: You have proven expertise in design, layout, crafting of digital and print ads, digital banners, infographics and more based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts 
  • Self-driven with can-do attitude: You can be given a project and will reliably take it from concept to execution and polishing. 
  • A multitasker: You can juggle many projects at once, and prioritize them accordingly. You can switch from project to project on a dime if necessary. 
  • Willing to learn: You’re willing to learn modern technologies and skills, and capable of applying them quickly to a finished working product.
  • Pragmatic: You understand that design is iterative and that a company runs on deadlines. You love to nerd out on design but also recognize the realities of day to day work. You’re able to take feedback from design management and stakeholders and stick to hard deadlines. 
  • A team player: You enjoy a collaborative working environment with the open sharing of ideas. 


Required Skills, Education and Experience: 

  • 1-3 years of design experience 
  • Advance proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint 
  • Able to handle multiple projects at any given time and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented 
  • UI/UX and front-end design experience is a plus 
  • Experience with high-end graphics, marketing, or production environment background a plus
