Job Description

Quality/Regulatory Operating Manager

Ensures that quality products are designed and manufactured by Keysight, and are in alignment and compliance with national, regional and global regulations, company policies and business objectives. Develops and implements programs and processes to ensure that Keysight products are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations for regulatory compliance.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversees and directs quality and/or regulatory activities, and executes key strategic programs within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Acts as a change agent to help establish a customer-centered culture.
  • Ensures quality management system procedures were accurate and current.
  • Provides expertise in translating regulatory requirements into practical, workable plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies for timely submission and approval of marketing applications.
  • Represents the company in industry associations and standards bodies and may interact with regulatory agencies.
  • Manage development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products.
  • Manage generation and review of documentation used in good manufacturing practices.
  • Monitor audits of production and quality control areas and raw material vendors.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Manages supervisors and/ or employees responsible for design/ implementation of programs/ processes
  • Directs, manages resources to implement tactical business plans and programs/ projects
  • Develops, implements solutions to department issues

Preferred location is Roseville, CA, but will consider other locations for someone who is qualified and willing to travel as needed 

Job Qualifications

Position requires:

  • Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent experience, plus 10+ years of directly relevant experience In Quality and compliance
  • 5+ years as a manager, supervisor and/or Team Lead.
  • Requires proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics.
  • Experience with product safety and compliance
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations for performance and regulatory compliance
  • Familiar with Automotive industry standards, such as TSI6949
  • Familiar with ISO standards
  • ANAB and AZLA certified
