Position Overview
Keysight’s Services Sales organization is experiencing dramatic growth and we have a rare opportunity for the right individual to become part of this exciting transformation. The position of Services Sales Field/Sales Engineer is responsible for selling the entire Keysight Services Portfolio to the entire customer organization, from technicians to executives. These includes calibration/repair, one-stop asset management, test-as-a-service, test professional services, test lab setup, electronics test and measurement managed services, etc. Their focus will be on acting as a trusted advisor to our customers, influencing long-term strategic direction, and the selling of new service agreements within Keysight Services Portfolio whilst building and maintaining customer relationships.

The successful Services Field/Sales Engineer leads the development and disciplined execution of an account strategy to generate business growth opportunities and achieve sales quota targets. Navigating complex selling processes; they proactively lead customers through the sales process to close deals. They explore and understand complex customer requirements on a business and technical level in order to engage, educate, and ensure satisfaction of the installed base. They must develop outstanding account plans with a deep knowledge of the Keysight services portfolio to build a strong funnel of incremental business.

Duties and Responsibilities
A. Sales Competencies:

•Seed, develop and manage develop existing and new managed services business within territories assigned
•Build a plan to ensure broad penetration into these accounts within your territories
•Possess executive selling skills to senior management by articulating the "story" and desired business outcomes
•Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets
•Creates and manages lead generation plans
•Ability to pull in resources from different parties to achieve business goals
•Timely in providing sales forecasts, reports, ad-hoc requests, project plans, etc.

B. Business Acumen:
•Probe, understand and assess complex customers' business initiatives, market and industry dynamics and business requirements on both enterprise and technical level
•Articulate, build and translate those requirements into winning strategies for business wins in face of competitive environment, business dynamics and customers' internal inertia
•Knowledge of the business finance, test and measurement (T&M) services industry, Industry 4.0, managed services in IT and Software will be added advantage

C. Interpersonal Competencies:
•Able to deliver and occasionally create presentations to customers of different levels in addressing Keysight values and how these values help customers achieving business goals
•Effectively communicates using when writing (email), presenting, speaking, listening, phone conversations
•Leads and manages teams from different functions, geographic timezones and organizations within company
•Self-driven, passionate about success
•Day and some overnight travel up to 25%-50%

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will bring with you:
•Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent
•Typical 3-5+ years sales experience in the technology industry. Experience in selling services will be added advantage
•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in enterprise environment
•Experience must include managing and selling direct as well as through indirect sales channels
•Experience in managing complex sales funnel and develop business plans to enable and accelerate sales growth
•Strong customer relationship building skills at all levels
•Possesses strategic scheduled approach to selling; driven by disciplined execution and proactive proven sales methodologies and mentality
•Win/win attitude with sound judgement and resource management
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
•Goal oriented, self-motivated, demonstrates sense of urgency and passion for the role
•Able to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues in various roles
•Sound business judgment with excellent organization and negotiation skills
•Intimate knowledge of customer organizations and markets are preferred
•Experience as effective facilitator who understands the complex relationships among various stakeholders in the sales process
