Vendor Payable

In this position, you will be responsible for the process improvement or project management of Vendors Payable and Employee Reimbursements activities. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  1. Work with operation team to understand the challenges and pain points suffered in the processes or systems. Provides leadership and engage in the overall process improvements in Accounts Payable activities. Works with management and customers to evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions which most effectively meet needs while maintaining acceptable business standards and ensure SOX compliance.
  2. Strong understanding of Oracle system environment. Apply in-dept knowledge to support Accounts Payable policies & process change. Interfaces with Global Hub India and key stakeholders to ensure that customer needs, policies, programs, and processes are understood.  Standardize the processes between Penang and India Global Hub.
  3. Review and update system/process documentation. Provides recommendations and maintenance / service request for technical and procedural changes.
  4. Responsible for the implementation of new program, system and process. Develops training materials and trains employees on all appropriate aspects of programs, systems, and applications.
  5. Work with project core team in rolling out any new projects which impact Accounts Payable function.  This involves different phases such as design, testing, communication and implementation. Liaise with other business functions such as Procurement team, Work Place Service, CCO, global tax and etc to ensure end to end process efficiency/effectiveness and SOX compliance.
  6. Work with FBIS or IT team for any system enhancement or resolve any system issues.
  7. Solve a broad range of Accounts Payable or business related problems of varying scope and complexity.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or any related discipline with accounting knowledge.
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Posses strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Meticulous, result oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
  • Excellent Microsoft excel and Power Point skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.
  • Knowledge of Oracle system and Sarbanes Oxley experience is an added advantage
