Job Description

This role will be accountable to deliver on the business analytics need of Infrastructure functions. This position will work closely with GIS Business Controller in leading the Plan, Forecast and variances commentary of actual expenses vs. Plan and Forecast. This position will be responsible to work with the team of business analysts for understanding reporting, planning and analysis needs of various GIS towers, work to build the strategy for delivering on these needs and leading the execution of the strategy. 
This position requires an experienced finance professional with a strong knowledge of finance/ERP/BI applications and demonstrated project management skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrated capability in thinking strategically and tactically; delivering results; taking appropriate risks; and in working in a collaborative decision-making model with stakeholders across different functions, regions and time zones. 
Key responsibilities include:
• Work with a team of business analysts in delivery of accounting and business compliance processes, financial reporting and analysis and timely & accurate completion of month end close activities.
• Work on global/regional projects which would involve working across finance leadership and coordinating with multiple business partners.
• Should have strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of experienced employees, if required.
• Should have exposure to US GAAP, SOX and other applicable provisions relevant to Accounting and SOX processes. 
• Should be able to work under minimal supervision, perform complex finance or accounting assignments.
• Provide support to the team during statutory and Internal Audit of processes. 
• Must have the ability to effectively represent GIS organization in cross functional forums. Drives continuous process improvements and streamline processes to increase productivity.

• Able to influence others and to communicate both verbally and in writing to a diverse audience. 
• Possesses high level of maturity necessary to interface with internal business partners, as well as functional partners. 
• Able to prioritize and balance competing needs among different parties or organizations. 
• Strives to optimize processes, displays multi-cultural sensitivity.

 

Job Qualifications

  • MBA Finance/CA
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes and projects.
  • ERP (Oracle), HFM, MicroStrategy knowledge is preferred along with proficiency in MS Applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
