Job Description

Designs and implements marketing strategies for specific products (hardware, software or services) or product lines to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products and to ensure smooth new product(s) or product line(s) introduction. Manages product offerings through the entire product life cycle. Conducts competitive analysis to determine product positioning, market segmentation, channel mix, pricing, volume, product service/support strategy and identifies customer needs. Product Planning: Responsible for developing product definitions and solution plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share. Evaluates business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio through analysis and in-depth understanding of targeted markets, market trends, customer business issues, and the competitive environment. Uses knowledge of company products, applications and processes to define product strategies and identify product opportunities. Collaborates with customers and/or third parties to define product requirements for new products or extensions to existing products. Works closely with product development to create products and validates early product definitions with customers.

  • Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured product marketing projects
  • Leads the design/ delivery of new product marketing programs/ projects; is the key technical contributor
  • Solves complex, high impact program/ process design/ development problems

Job Qualifications


  • Proven history of creating effective marketing content and programs
  • 10+ years relevant industry experience
  • Understanding of the interconnected wireless chipset, device and operator ecosystems
  • High attention to detail, with ability and interest to drive engagement with Sales, Product Planning and R&D at a detailed level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multi-culture environment
  • Strong written and spoken English skills


  • Experience and knowledge of wireless test and measurement business, products, processes and competitors
  • Good understanding of 3GPP standardization activities, and cellular wireless communication and signaling protocols
  • University Degree in Electronic Engineering, Communications, or equivalent
