Job Description

Keysight EEsof EDA is the leading supplier of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software for communications product design. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to work within a business that is strategically important to Keysight’s overall solutions sales strategy and success. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow within Keysight and to work within a high energy, high growth and high value team.

The position is for an EDA software sales specialist that has quota responsibility, with most travel being day to day to and from customer meetings. The role is to sell EDA design software solutions into specific accounts and geographical areas, focusing within the communications market space. This includes the areas of Microwave & RF circuit, high-speed digital, device modeling and electronic system level design.


- Proactively drive sales growth and create business opportunity in new and existing markets
- understand the customer´s needs and business and find appropriate solution offerings
- Account intelligence through building strong relationships with key people at all levels within the organization
- Manage and coordinate resources to ensure successful business growth, customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Produce and execute sales/account plans that align with customer challenges and growth opportunities
- Ability to balance longer term strategic engagement with shorter term business results

Job Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Needs to demonstrate a good knowledge of the electronic/communication, specifically for high frequency and/or high speed digital design.
- Ability to learn and understand RF/MW (including EM), Electronic System Level (ESL), High Speed Digital and Device Modelling design flows to qualifying the customer’s methodology and propose the most appropriate EEsof EDA solution.
- Needs to have a good understanding of the competitive environment for positioning the unique value proposition of EEsof EDA solutions according to the current customer design flow and design challenges.


- Successful experience in selling complex technical solutions to companies involved in Integrated Circuit Design and prototyping
- Demonstrate experience in managing accounts and establishing relationships with R&D, CAD and project managers.
- Demonstrated the ability to uncover new business in new markets, to win against the competition in difficult circumstances, and move sales up in an organization such that you are not competing on product specification, but overall business value and partnership.


- Demonstrated the ability to quickly get up to speed with new product knowledge, understand the structure of software products and be able to generate complex configurations for quotation.
- Successful and proven track record in selling software solution based products.
- Proven communication skills at local and international level.
- Self motivating with high energy, drive, determination and an ability to work independently while maintaining a strong communication path with colleagues and customers.
