Position Overview

Ideally based out of the Stockholm office, the RSM will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for overall revenue growth in this region (Sweden/Denmark/Norway).  The role includes identifying and targeting Key Service Providers and Network Equipment Manufacturers in both a direct and two-tier channel sales model. The RSM will work closely with both end customers and channel partners to generate, develop and close sales opportunities primarily for Ixia’s Network Test Solutions.  The successful candidate will be a skilled influencer, able to provide leadership and support to reseller partners as well as able to assess customer needs and facilitate solutions unique to their business.  The RSM will report to the Regional Manager for the Nordic region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate, develop, and close sales mainly through direct touch and in some cases with channel partners.
  • Generate a plan to ensure broad penetration into the accounts within the territory, with Ericsson as the Key Account.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Present Ixia’s solutions to perspective customers.
  • Assist partners in closing opportunities with customers.
  • Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide inputs to product marketing on customer needs and issues.
  • Utilise and maintain Salesforce (CRM Tool) to record all opportunities and deals (ie: real-time forecast and funnel management)
Job Qualifications
  • Previous experience selling Test & Measurement Hardware and/or Software covering technologies such as Ethernet, Routing, MPLS, TCP/IP, Network Security, Wifi, 4G/5G.
  • Degree level education is preferred.
  • 5+ years Field sales experience in the Technology industry targeting Service Provider (SP) and Network Equipment Manufacturer (NEM) Accounts.
  • Experience must include selling both direct and through Indirect Sales channels.
  • Proven ability to sell and to exceed quotas.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious.
  • Written and spoken Swedish & English
