As Information Systems and Security Senior Audit Professional, you’ll partner with management to optimize risk and manage compliance associated with large, global and growing businesses. We are searching for a highly experienced Information Systems and Security Senior Audit Professional who will be based in Colorado Springs, CO or Santa Rosa, CA. The person will lead, participate and partner with management to deliver (1) audits/assessments of IT operations, security, infrastructure, applications, policies and processes and/or its third-party service providers to assess current risks and evaluate compliance with policies and standards; and (2) audits of Keysight’s businesses processes and controls as well as providing consulting services to internal business and IT partners. The candidate should also understand key legislation or applicable industry guidelines pertaining to information security and privacy and provide guidance to management in regard to compliance and/or best practices.  This position has the opportunity to travel worldwide up to 40% within a year.  Required skills/experience:

  • Experience in leading and coordinating a diverse team.
  • Ability to understand complex information systems, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.  Experience leveraging audit technology (data mining tools) such as IDEA is a plus. Experience in developing a data analytics program.
  • Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Experience performing information security assessments for technical and business process aspects.
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Security practices, techniques and tools. Experience working with intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability management, threat analysis, anti-virus software, firewall administration and SIEM.
  • Experience working with different environments (Windows, UNIX), web applications, network administration (Firewalls, Routers/Switches) and Windows active directory.
  • Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of operation processes with corporate security policies and related government regulations.
  • Ability to interface with senior management and technical experts.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues in terms of business risk. Assess risk exposures resulting from ineffective or missing control practices.
  • Experience in developing, executing and documenting audit test steps.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate findings and provide written recommendations by demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Strong English communication skills including both written and verbal.
  • Experience or exposure to business/financial processes.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or related information systems certification would be preferred. Must be a US citizen in order to access and assess US government related data or storage devices.


Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, NIST and/or ISO 27000 control frameworks business operational controls to assist businesses with risk assessment and improvement of their processes.


Working knowledge of Oracle, data extraction tools and proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word. PowerPoint, MicroSoft Access, etc.).


The ideal candidate should have at least 10 -12 years of working experience in Information Security or Information Technology or performing IT compliance reviews or risk assessment in medium to large corporate environments (public companies preferred) or IT audit or consulting.
