Job Description

At Keysight, we help companies address their toughest challenges with precision and confidence. We offer the most precise electronic measurement tools in the industry, with advanced software to match. Our employees leverage their insight and passion to revolutionize electronic measurement and make a difference in the world.

We are seeking an intern to assist with the development of FPGA and Pathwave FDK library blocks that compliment current customer opportunities as part of the Aerospace Defense Strategic Pursuit team (ADSP). The primary focus of the individual will be to help define and implement FPGA components and solutions. A majority of opportunities that ADSP works on require customized solutions to meet customer requirements, so this position will concentrate on closing the gap to successfully implement customer signal processing applications.

  • Functional programming expertise to converse and collaborate with internal developers and customers about capabilities and possibilities in FPGA fabric
  • Assist Keysight development efforts with design/architecture tasks to create needed FPGA blocks
  • Discussing “custom” capability based on Keysight’s existing software, FPGA Gateware and FDK enablers a customer can leverage.
  • Work closely with aerospace/defense customers to define and integrate Keysight’s technologies into their larger A/D systems.
  • Be available for detailed development questions from customers as they first understand the technology Keysight offers and later design it into their application.

Job Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of FPGA design process and tools.
  • Digital signal processing knowledge and working experience.
  • Understanding of system design, including the appropriate partitioning between hardware, software and firmware.
