This job is part of Keysight’s Infrastructure Services organization – focused on delivering bleeding-age Cloud infrastructure solutions to our internal partners and evaluating/adopting emerging Cloud-based technologies into our environment.

The ideal candidate needs to possess a broad variety of soft and technical skills, especially a strong passion for understanding business needs, engaging and adding value to solutions provided.
You will also apply Cloud technology principles and ideas into real solutions while being the Trusted Advisor to enable our business partner’s Cloud journey too!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of Keysight’s global Cloud Core team of IT Infrastructure and Security architects/engineers to:
    • Investigate and evaluate emerging Cloud technologies and constantly embracing changes in the industry.
    • Collaborate together to define Keysight’s Cloud technology roadmap.
    • Design and implement Cloud architecture and solutions.
    • Provide top-notch support for solutions implemented.
    • Execute and implement tasks as identified by Cloud program/project needs.
  • Automate! Continuously explore opportunities to automate Cloud capabilities, reduce redundant efforts and increase productivity.
    • Develop automation capabilities and consult with business partners to kick-start their own Cloud solution design/development effort.
  • Consult with internal businesses to understand key business opportunities and how IT can add value to deliver products to market sooner.
    • Develop proactive relationships with internal business partners and key stakeholders to provide both Strategic and Tactical consultative assistance. Be the Go-To person and Trusted Advisor!
    • Manage, evaluate business demand funnel and advocate best practices (consumption behaviors, security and performance considerations). You will be a key influencer to ensure best practices, standard solutions are applied.
  • Assist where required in any critical circumstances where your skills and experience is required – e.g Operational escalations, Projects etc.
  • Analyze, manage consumption – proactively own optimizing the environment, increase Infrastructure utilization rates and advocate the right behaviors.

Job Qualifications

  • Most importantly, a strong passion in Cloud and making a difference!
  • Preferably 3-5 years direct work experience in the Cloud and IT infrastructure environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT-related discipline, Information System or Computer Science or business-related field.
  • Broad Technical skills and Business Acumen:
  • Strong applied technical knowledge in the following IT domains:
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
      • Strong understanding of “primary” AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, ELB, R-53, etc)
      • Familiarity with PaaS offerings and automation (Lambda, CloudFormation, etc)
      • Networking concepts, design and architecture
      • Network Security fundamentals
      • Virtualization fundamentals
      • Server OS (Windows, Linux)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with both non-technical and highly technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage many projects in flight simultaneously
  • Strong documentation skills, including Visio for technical diagrams
  • Nice to Have skills:
  • Experience with other cloud service providers (Azure, Google, VMware, etc)
  • Expertise with any other less-common AWS services – SageMaker, CodeDeploy, RedShift, etc.
  • Experience with container services and automation
  • Hands-on experience with configuring network equipment (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Hands-on experience with PAN Firewalls
  • Experience with SD-WAN, especially Viptella
  • Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning basics
