This job will be part of the Services Solutions Group, which helps customers manage test instruments across the instruments' lifecycles - calibration, repair, technology refresh, asset management, consulting, training and product purchase alternatives. With service centers in over 30 countries, Services is a people intensive, local business.

The Services Solutions Group helps customers find new ways to maximize their asset usage, streamline their engineering operations, and achieve lower costs.

Service Technician

• Perform Repair, adjustments and Basic trouble shooting on Keysight electronics Products,Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity. 

• Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.

• Working within your area of expertise, you will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting field staff and customers.

• Provide consistent, solid contribution to team and service center to achieve the Performance Goals.

• Provides internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills.

• Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources. Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures Keysight resources are used properly.  Understanding of and compliance with ESD protocol and connector care is a must.

• Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments. Promotes ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs that are conducive to the delivery of high quality service and minimization of re-repair.

Job Description

Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electronic or analytical instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Work is typically performed at an Keysight site but occasionally is performed at a customer location. Interprets customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals. ? Determines and develops approaches to assignments and procedures ? Responsible for test, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration and refurbishment duties which require planning and judgment ? Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity

Job Qualifications

May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically minimum of 3 years relevant experience for entry to this level. Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.
