Our Hardware Test Center Europe (HTC) in Böblingen is opening a position for a Regulations Engineer focused on worldwide Safety and EMC requirements and Certifications for new Test & Measurement products.

In addition, you will build up your skills to Environmental quality requirements.

In a long-term perspective you will consult our R&D and Manufacturing engineers in compliant product design through the product life cycle of our Test & Measurement products.

 

As the Regulations Engineer, you will be overseeing the worldwide product compliance, be a consultant for R&D and Manufacturing Engineers and the contact person to the HTC. You will ensure worldwide market access of our products. Further tasks include:

  • Ensure that our customer’s product comply with Safety and EMC standards and quality requirements
  • Apply for worldwide certificates for our products through established systems or procedures
  • Support to manage the changing requirement environment, keeping up-to-date on the latest relevant standards
  • Provide consulting services to our R&D and manufacturing teams

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • interest in regulatory compliance
  • Basic knowledge of regulations: Safety and EMC standards, Low-voltage directive, EMC directive
  • This position is open to academic graduates with aprox. 2 years’ experience
  • Technical writing and communication in German and English.
