Job Description


      As Sr Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a worldwide supply-chain effort for end to end process development and optimization for new technology. You will introduce industry best practices and innovative manufacturing know-how that will enhance roadmap and accelerate new product deployment. The right individual will partner cross functionally with engineering technologist, advance commodity, suppliers, design, quality, contract manufacturers, and volume production teams during solution development lifecycle. Possessing strong leadership, influencing skills, and technical depth are critical elements of success for this role. This leader will establish manufacturing standards and publish process control guidelines to assure flawless ramp into volume manufacturing. In this role, you will:

· Develop and deploy test solutions for high volume production environments that meet and exceed business expectations.
· Own manufacturing test process qualification, documentation, and supplier ramp approvals
· Deliver world class user experience by establishing optimal manufacturing test solutions for component and device assembly
· Partner with Technologists, Engineering, and Advance Commodity leaders to risk mitigate new technology deployment from concept to production
· Provide data driven strategy to identify and manage user experience risk. This includes utilization of Quality tools such as DOE, GR&R and PFMEA
· Present timely, concise reports advising manufacturing process readiness to stakeholders
· Participate in design of new features through DFM, DFT & functional test development
· Develop plans and deploy strategy to bring up multiple global suppliers in parallel
· Lead teams to enhance process and drive technology evolution to volume production

Job Qualifications




· BS/MS degree in Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
· 10+ years of experience of design, test and /or manufacturing
· Software application tool development




· Advanced degree in related field
· Experienced programmer in C, C++, Python, Labview, Expect, Pearl
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to start projects and drive to completion and achieve tangible results
· Enthusiasm for getting “hands on” with product and production equipment
· Experience working with global partners
· Production process qualification, measurement, data gathering and analysis capability
· Proven track record in design, tooling, and production for consumer electronics industry
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience in managing technical and cross functional team is a plus
