Duties will include

  • Helping to define and develop cutting-edge network visibility solutions
  • Learning about new developments in networking and security and applying that knowledge to feature development for Network Packet Brokers
  • Developing high quality full stack software independently and in teams
  • Evaluate and integrate third party software.
  • Develop JUnit tests and perform feature/integration testing.
  • Leading and participating in design and code reviews

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Java programming and object oriented design skills required
  • Proficiency with Web application technologies such as javascript, HTML5, REST, JSON, XML
  • Good sense for effective, efficient, and easy to use management interface design
  • Expertise, knowledge and interest in Ethernet and networking technologies
  • Understanding of embedded systems development is a plus
  • Ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong software debug skills
  • Familiarity with waterfall and Agile software development
  • Tools: Eclipse, Code Collaborator, Jira, GIT/SVN, debuggers, profilers, Wireshark, WebStorm, Sencha
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
