Keysight's Global Partner Organization is looking for new innovative approaches to increase customer and organizational awareness of our Value-Added Reseller partner capabilities, solution offerings, and technical services.

Join the Global Partner Organization team in Austin, Texas, and be exposed to Keysight’s sales partner program framework, technology-leading industry solution teams, and worldwide channel sales managers to identify opportunities to improve awareness platforms and methodologies.  As a change leader, the VAR Awareness Platform project will be a challenging and exciting addition to the candidate's study life.

This internship is for an entry-level Business Development Engineer and it requires a unique combination of marketing methods, information technology understanding, and social/verbal/written communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interview global channel managers to define how customer awareness is currently generated for their partners
  • Research industry best practice for partner promotional methods and platforms
  • Research existing and potentially new ways to increase awareness of our partner network members and their unique differentiating capabilities, including use of social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube), mobile applications, digital demand techniques, and website design. 
  • Provide a final presentation to the program team on recommendations for improvement as well as a prototype awareness platform design and process.

Job Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Business/Marketing or Computer Science
  • Good overall GPA
  • Excellent command of English language and visual-learning techniques
  • Collaborative team player with a positive approach to working with others
  • Ability to communicate professionally with strong presentation skills and well-written responses to emails and phone calls
  • Proven planning and organization skills, including time management
  • Self-starter and collaborator who can work independently or in a team environment, and is willing to take on new exciting challenges
