Description:

Keysight-ISG Visibility Solutions is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to our high speed and complex designs.

 

  • Candidates joining our team will have great impact and help drive ixia success, by collaborating and participating in new board and system level designs.
  • Great opportunity to become a member of a well-respected and dynamic team.
  • Develop state-of-the-art Visibility Hardware products
  • Network interface speeds up to 400G
  • Author Schematics and manage PCB layout resources
  • Support sustaining efforts and implement changes to improve yields.
  • Participate in a cross-functional team environment including Mechanical, RTL-FPGA, and Software.

 

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and practices
  • Understanding of power subsystems and power sequencing
  • Knowledge of EMC design techniques and solving non-compliance issues
  • Proficient with lab equipment and capturing complex measurements
  • Experience designing with FPGAs, DRAM, CPUs, PHY’s, switching power and clock distribution
  • Competency with board tools such as OrCad/Concept and Allegro
  • Knowledge of PCB Stackup’s, and understanding of materials
  • Strong de-bug skills and analytical problem solving  
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams is required
  • Motivated and passionate about hardware development
  • Open to travel

     

Bonus:

  • Experience with Fiber Optic products (Cables, Taps, Splitters)
  • Proficient at scripting (Python, TCL, etc.)
  • Experience with FPGA RTL design (Verilog, VHDL)
